During the first half of the semester, each student will independently complete a research project on a controversial topic in education. The project will be assigned and due in four stages, and each of the stages will be graded separately. Assignments and due dates are as follows:
Assignment #4:
The Big Reveal! Prepare a very brief (3-5 minutes) discussion summarizing your controversial issue, your informed opinion on the issue, and the evidence supporting your position. Has your opinion changed after locating, examining, and considering the scholarly or empirical evidence? This is a very easy and straightforward assignment! It shouldn’t require a lot of preparation time.
