Go to the St. Louis Fed website (https://fred.stlouisfed.org/)
Under the search bar find Browse data By : select Category
Scroll down to National Accounts and select or click on National Income Product Accounts
Select GDP/GNP
Click on the heading Real Gross Domestic Product
Part 1: Scroll down to Release Tables then select or click on Table 1.1.6 (Real Gross Domestic Product Chained Dollars: Quarterly)
Create a table with the following data: (use the data for last year, pick the latest available quota)
Gross domestic product
Personal consumption expenditure
Gross private domestic investment
Net Exports
Government consumption expenditures and gross investment
Using the expenditure equation determine the GDP  using the data in the table you have created above (show your calculations).
Calculate the share (percentage) of each of the 4 components of GDP and present your information in a pie chart. Make sure to label your pie chart clearly.
Why is Net exports figure negative? Using the same  data show how to calculate the net exports.
Part 2: Go back to  instructions V above and select table 1.7.6.  Using data for the same period (last year, latest available quota)

How do you calculate GNP from GDP? Use the same data to show how to calculate GNP from GDP.
